KTaNE Mods
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is one of my favorite games. I love its unique format focusing entirely on putting two people in a stressful situation where communication must remain as clear as possible. The bomb defusal manual is an amazing piece of technical writing that simultaneously avoids ambiguity and makes it challenging to read and communicate. The game gave me my own ideas for communication challenges, which I modded into it!
The Sporglers
The Sporglers is a module about a bunch of wacky, poorly-drawn characters. They all have different schedules and stats, and you need to read those schedules and stats to determine which Sporgler is best fitted to do a specific task. To add an additional challenge, their schedules are also hidden in a paragraph that contains a lot of irrelevant information to sift through. You can read the manual here or download the mod here.
Pattern Lock
Pattern lock is the first mod I made. The main challenge of pattern lock is rotating patterns in your head to tell the defuser the correct combination to enter. You can read the manual here and download the mod here.
Reception
Both of these mods were fairly well-received in the KTaNE modding community! The Sporglers has gathered 601 downloads, and Pattern Lock has gathered 4,678.
